Description

this is the front door to the house I was at in Mexico, This is four photos i put together with ICE it a free program. I also painted this door and will post it tomorrow. I was painting from life and not from photos which is differ way of doing stuff and it is harder than it looks. i took the photos to show you what what and how things really look like. there is too many palm trees to take a photo of the whole house. there was a storm there about 5 years ago and it wipe out the trees so these tree grow in five years big. They say the olny palms trees that did not fall down or broke was the Royce palms.

a very vivid yet very mysterious shot, Jocko, because while this is an entrance, it feels like a deep cavern of some kind. You caught that feeling beautifully. A deep entryway surrounded by a big beautiful wall, and glimpses of the world outside only at the top of the photo. I like that you caught so much open wall: It gives the shot a feel of real grit and mystery. A wonderful shot. Fine work. I guess those thick walls really help in all that heat.

Sorry a bit late commenting on this one not much time and often no internet connection, anyway it looks a great place with lot of painting and photography potential, Interesting about the palms and their speed of growth. Nice shot.
