Description

A view of the Rogue River from a bridge in Grants Pass using HDR tone mapping. I'm still trying to get the hang of this technique. Yesterday, I found an open source program called Luminance HDR which I used for this image & this is the best result I've gotten so far (though I needed to do some additional tweaking in Photoshop). It's a beta version, so it crashes occasionally, but otherwise seems to produce pretty good results. I can see how HDR can become a photographic addiction & I know it can become too much of a good thing, so I will try not to get carried away with it - though I will probably post a few more...
