Description

Hello fellow Rendorians, This is dedicated to Oskagirl who is my mother and my Dad who is obviously my father. I want to thank them for raising me the way they did I know they did the best they could and in all honesty I don't think I could do as well they did. We (me and my three siblings) were not rich but we were always provided for we were not popular but we were never lonely. Me and my brother and two sisters got along for the most part growing up and Our household was mostly one of love and understanding and didn't even begin to shout in arguments until I got married. We were not the Flander's or the Brady Bunch we were more like the Simpson's or the Bundy's but we had we had each other and there was security in that. Our parents gave us freedom to express ourselves "you can grow your hair to your butt as far as I'm concerned but you better keep it clean!". They did have some ground rules and I still show respect to my parents when I visit them to this day. To this day when I visit them I still let them know where I'm at and who I'm with and when I should be home. Not because it's a rule but because it shows my love respect for them. When I was growing up my dad would get home from work at around 5:30. We would all sit down and eat dinner together and eat as a family. (how many families do that any more even ounce a week?) My parents never forced us to do anything we didn't want to do. They would encourage us if we did find interest and helped us in any way they could. They would not guilt trip us into continuing when we did lose interest which was quite normal and quite often. They taught us to take responsibility for our actions and to be willing to accept the consequence. Corporal punishment was very very rarely used and only in very extreme circumstances. To be honest I can't recall ever being spanked myself but I'm sure I was in my childhood. (so that debunks scarring a child for life theorist!) But most of all my parents taught us to be open minded and willing to think for ourselves Not to go with the flow but to be our own person and not worry about what other people would think of us. And I want to thank them for raising me and my siblings with such devotion and love and respect and giving us those traits as a foundation for us to build upon in our lives. Thank You Mom and Dad I just wanted you to know that you helped make me the man I am today. Thank you again Mom and Dad! from "Up and adam Tiger" or "Turkey" The image: MIDNIGHT RIDER The Rider is alone in the night yet he rides forward into the unknown perhaps to safety or into danger. He keeps riding until he gets to his destination. We all must keep moving forward and even when the night is dark and we are all alone we must ride forward with our banners and heads held high. Know that the past is behind and the future is ahead one is fixed and can never change but the other is as fluid as a river and malleable as clay we have the ability to shape it as we wish. The picture was the result of testing some new 3D content which just went in a completely different direction then what it started as. I wanted it like a silhouette type scene with the lone rider racing across the field and but not a lot color. I think it came out quite nice then used Post Workshop for the painting like effect. Enjoy and thanks for looking PS please go by and comment on the picture me and her collaborated on. Thanks for looking Chris

I know it probably wasn't your intent, but the first thing that popped into my head when seeing this one was the Burton-version of Sleepy Hollow. Very cool!

Sigh .. what a great family you have, what great memories. love the image, makes me think of Paul Revere's Midnight Ride. Tell your Mom she has to upload more stuff in her gallery, it echos in there with just the two pieces hanging all alone in that big empty space (:
