Description

Well, I'm so fond of Stonemason's environments that this time give up pin-ups and nudity, just to show you two pretty girls chatting in the morning, ready for the beach, in this lovely «piazzetta». Streets of the Mediterranean by Stonemason. Reality2 + LuxRender Take care, and be happy.

I'm a fan of stone's stuff myself! Ever tried running all of the urban future series through a single Lux pass? :-) I agree on the lighting choice, but for my critique remark (of course!), it looks like the left top corner has some wonky texture effect going on. This one of his sets I don't have, so its just a stupid observation! Love the shadow work.

@ superboomturbo You are right. Don't know why, but for some reason Reality or LuxRender distort the textures of the left building (you may also observe the distortion under the small window at ground floor, in the center). I have to investigate this problem: if I render the scene in 3Delight, everything is ok. Anyway, on the whole I liked the scene in spite of these faults, so I posted it. Thank you everybody for your kind comments.

I love the settings of Stonemason! Lovely ladies, look like tourists in Italy. These are the southern sun. Very nicely done, Joe!

wow nice work on the lighting...I am very picky about lights in 3d..and since you use DAZ on this one i am impressed....I have tried lighting in Poser and I suck at it...I have never used DAZ but DAZ and Poser both lack atmopheres ...so you did superb on this one, you brought this image to reality! y the way what tree is that on the right?

@ Kindredsoul By the leaves, it looks like an orange-tree; by the fruits, sort of Sorbus aucuparia... Probably is a fantasy tree: I imported it in Daz from a c4d file. I think DS has a great potential both for interior and exterior scenes: it will never give the landscape effects you can get with Vue (you are really smart at it!) however with DS you may arrange beautiful natural compositions, as I hope to be able to post here in the future (anyway, there are other artists on Rendo who have done excellent exterior scenes with DS). Thank you.
