Music: The Boat that I Row, by Neil Diamond. I will be heading to Atlanta tomorrow to meet my daughter Jenna there, we are attending a Neil Diamond concert, her and her husband got me front row seats for a Christmas gift and we are both so excited we can hardly stand it. I turned her into a bigger fan that I am by playing his music through the years. This will be my 5th Neil Diamond concert and Jennas very first. We are spending the night in Atlanta and going to visit the Georgia aquarium the next day, and if we have time the Coca Cola Museum. I will try to get loads of photos.
The photo was taken in downtown Knoxville Tennessee, the name of the statue is "the Oarsman created in 1988 by Oklahoma artist David Phelps.

Great capture and quite adecuate song! Neil Diamond is my favorite singer,I thought that he was already retired. I have almost all of his LP's (Yes, no CD).You are lucky to go. I hope you'll enjoy the concert and yes, I'll be waiting for the photos.

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream............ The Coca Cola Museum? I never knew there was such a thing. And there is no The Boat that I Row in my Neil Diamond CDs. That said, cool capture of the cool sculpture, Lynelle. Kind of reminds me of The Philadelphia Experiment.

what a whimsical sculpture! you'll have to show me around there next time i visit - seems i've more to learn about knoxville! beautifully shot and postworked lynell as usual - and great lyrics to accompany it! have a blast tomorrow - i'll be with you in spirit ...and speaking of spirits, have a margarita or two for me at that mexican restaurant, ok? :) ...and speaking of imbibing spirits, i still wonder how the oarsman can look so carefree while paddling what appears to be a severely capsized boat...? ...and speaking of boats, i know of one too, if you're interested... ;) xoxo
