Description

This is to commemorated D-Day, to all those brave men! I tried to reproduce that iconic ww2 canadian army archive footage of the canadians storming Juno on D-Day. Used James G2, my Tommy stuff, & a new prop that I created, the LCA( this a Landing Craft Assault, the equivalent to the US LCVP, started the model on saturday finished it yesterday, its a rushed job & still needs work to coplete it). Also used Thundrr's Eagle One beach fortifications. This was setup in poser then finished the atmosphere, smoke & bullet splashes in Photoshop.

Excellent image and fitting tribute, first time in many years I haven't posted a D-Day picture, I'll make up for it later, in the mean time...'Salute' to all who served and serve today.

Gets the right look... gritty and dark. Staring down the throat of a bunker too!
