Description

Monday, June 4, 2012 Note: Best viewed enlarged. Here's a progress panorama from this past Monday, looking west and north at the Triangle construction site. The ground floor lies over the upper storey of the parking garage. The floor of the second storey has been laid. Supporting pillars and walls for the second and third storeys are being erected. The man crouching on top of the truck gives an idea of the size of the concrete beams used for part of the construction. The top storey and roof of the existing part of the Triangle shopping center is visible at the lower end of the Hilton Hotel. The photos were taken through the fence at the south-east corner of the site. I never cease to be amazed at the organization of a work place like this. Tomorrow I'll be posting an artist's illustration of the completed project from this angle of view. Enjoy!

Great to see an update on "our project". I recently was looking at huge wooden beams in a 120 year old building but these concrete jobs are massive by comparison. Details at the zoom are super. I agree about the organization...like a orchestra playing a symphony. A bee hive also comes to mind... Good to see you posting and many thanks for the update note.
