Description
Ok here is another Sci-Fi from me and the band plays on. This one is my interpretation of an image I saw and it was just fun to figure out how it was done. Plus I really like the quality of the Hawkings Class Starship it is quite good and does so well in different lighting.
Ok here is something I can not at this time explain, there is only one light source in the image. It comes from the left hand side of the image, cool everything on that side as to objects and stuff shadows right. But everything right of center shadows left towards the only light source. The only thing I can say is it has to be the Ghosts of Mars.
Must be viewed in zoom for the details in the image.

Have fun and enjoy.

Well what ever the case maybe it's still cool....I know in Bryce if you don't turn off the shadows you get the double light source but for Vue I have no clue...I do know I like the scene set up and the POV and as for the martian texture....wow....can you say realistic!...(smiles)...

Check whether you have add'l lights plus the sun. Reposition your camera and see if the shadows are still not making sense. Reposition the space station and see how it affects the shadows, depending on height above the surface and position wrt light sources. You can also turn off "cast shadows" for individual objects, I think.

Cool. Like this version better 'cause of the clouds.
