I love that plane too! It's a real beaut', and lends nicely to texture changes. I did a lot of research on these planes last year for a book I was writing, and of the stories from pilots I came across, they all said that flat, waveless water was a nightmare to land on, as one couldn't tell the actual elevation from the air to gauge the correct landing angle. Choppy waves, it seems, were actually good in this instance!
