I guess we share this weed. I start pulling them up in early spring when they first break the ground. I found if you wait too long, the tap root sinks so far into the soil, you can't pull it...you have to chop it off and then it grows back with a tougher root on it. Yes, the flowers are lovely but they have taken over my yard, not just the flower beds, but everywhere including cracks in the driveway. This is a fabulous shot of this one.
