My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nice shot of the fungus. Did you take it home for supper?

It almost looks like, as if this tall tree has his own outdoor lamplight ;) what a catch - how did you spot it, way up there? (probably somebody left the light on, LOL) a lovely dedication for Andrea and many happy returns! BB

A very cool fungus shot, Tara! That thing looks like it might jump off the tree and attack at any moment... That's what happens when you watch too many "Blob" B-movies as a kid - it warps your mind forever.... LOL!

Wonderfully textured fungi capture!!

Who wouldn't want a fungi on their birthday ;)

Almost like some underwater creature clinging high up in the treetops...I see these around here, and they always surprise me. Great capture and dedi!

the zoom does fine work, it looks like you were standing right in front of the fungus. A big splat of a growth, with an underside like custard, and sitting on that tree like an arrogant guest who refuses to leave. Love the feel of it, and the way you have light on either side of it (dramatic light on left & right). Just the kind of thing Andrea would capture. Wonderful...and to me, a lot of fun.

Wonderful delicate light. Lovely capture. Well done Tara
