Description
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw Adamthwaites' spiderwoman freebie. (Available on his website - http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_24.htm)
I know a traditional Kali has 4, 10 or (sometimes) 100 arms. As in animation, less is more: that's why many popular animated characters have 3 fingers. This gives the animator less to have to animate. Hence, 10 and 100 arms was not an option! Posing these 6 arms was quite enough, thank you.
Also, my first experience of Kali was in "The Golen Voyage of Sinbad" and that Kali has 6 arms, like the model(s).
So you can call this "Hollywood Kali," if you must.
Also, she is often considered to be black-skinned (not African-American black, but BLACK) RGB 0,0,0. However in many of the depictions of her, she is blue-skinned. As I discovered, this is possibly due to the fact that BLACK skin doesn't show much detail and isn't appealing.
Kali is also nude, or half-dressed, wearing a skirt of human arms. I couldn't find that prop anywhere. Go figure.
By the way, this information is all available on wikipedia, if you want to know more. (And knowing is half the battle!)
Anyway I hope you like this. Thanks!

Nicely done :)

Thanx for your kind comments. The crosstalk of having 3 copies of Victoria made working with this interesting, to say the least.

Now that's handy, bet she's a real whizz around the kitchen ! I'm thinking you mean "Bollywood Kali" ?...LOL Nice work on all that extra posing, I just recently animated a freaking Spider, 8 arm/leg, 8 eye's and flowing cloth to set up...whew ! Well done & ~Cheers~

Honestly, she's not much of a cook: you're never quite sure where the meat came from. However, she did work in a high-end salon for a while. She could do a full head of extentions in just under 14 minutes. Unfortunately, they were usually much too tight. She also worked as a dog walker in Bangkok, but the pampered pooches of the Thai elite were terrified of her. I feel for you, posing AND animating a spider. Did you survuve the experience with your sanity intact? I can only imagine the incidence of psychosis in the old-school stop-motion industry. Did you post the final product anywhere? I'd love to see it. Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it. Ciao!
