Description

This was an attempt to create a render that looks completely unposed. Wanted to do something that looks like a photograph you might take when out in the city. I'm not going to bother adding credits here as it would take all day and I have to go out and watch England lose. Thanks for looking. Hope you like. All comments are greatly appreciated.

Excellent scene! I think you accomplished what you set out to do very effectively! But I think some zombies would have made this scene more realistic. LOL! I'm kidding! Terrific render, my friend. Enjoy the game and have fun!

Very natural looking. What film response did you use? I started thinking the other day (Danger, Will Robinson!!) about why photographers shoot preferably just before dawn and dusk, other that for light color and quality. If you bring enough junk, why not shoot any time? Taking this into Lux, I've been trying to escape that orange tinge that seems to pop up in most of the film responses that make skin look good. The only one that seems to really sell me is the Kodak 800 something, the very last one in the list. Skin isn't as good as a 100 speed, but the environment is pretty crisp and clear. Anyway, back to your image, the shadows and the angle of light seems consistent with a later time of day, which is good and accurate, but that damn orange/warm tone always seems to shout "RENDER!!" Perhaps I'll work on a different IBL profile and check for changes.

I think you accomplished your goal, Chevy. One thought, though, try taking on a slightly oblique angle when doing "unposed" shots like this! I think you'll like the results! Great settup on your scene!
