Mirror of Her Dreams
Â
Â
Hello! Welcome to my Renderosity home page!
Â
My name is Mike and I live in the little state of New Hampshire New England, USA.
Â
As of 10/20/13 I am 53 years old. Holy crap! I'm getting old!
Â
Anyway, I am a LONG time amateur photographer - since the early 80's and very much enjoy digital photography and photo editing.
In 2007 I came across an art site that had rendered artwork and I thought it looked really cool. Having never heard of 3D amateur art I followed the artist's link to download DAZ Studio for free and have been hooked ever since.
Â
Though I presently create my 3D artwork using Poser Pro 2014 I do want to return to DAZ Studio once again and keep current with it.
Â
My other interests include: camping, kayaking and photo manipulations.
Â
My favorite art styles are science fiction and fantasy.
Â
My creative art tools of choice are Poser Pro 2014, Photoshop CS and a Wacom 4x6 Tablet.
Â
My favorite music groups are The Moody Blues and Blackmoore's Night.
Â
My other art link is: http://mhestey.dotphoto.com/CPListAlbums.asp
Â
Thank you for stopping by. Feel free to drop me a site mail if you feel so inclined.
Â
Regards,
Mike

What a beautiful image! The clarity is spectacular and I like the perfect reflection. Also, the fact that you have added the wake makes this extra special. Well done.

Loon? what the hell is a Loon? lol it doesn't sound good, it sounds like goon - lol great shot anyway. You sound like you had a better vaction then the last email I looked at - lol... I guy went camping in Alaska and a Polar Bear broke into his tent... he mauled the hell out of the guy and bit throu his ankle, but the guy was able to get his gun and kill it - his back looked all scratched up and bloody, but nothing like his ankle.

Wow great capture there Mike looks like it was swimming on a mill pond there the water is so still.. Great reflection also.. Glad to see your back and hope your time away was pleasant and relaxing.. Super link on info about this bird, didn't know about them and that they grow up to 3 foot that's a big bird.. Thanks for sharing this :-) and have a great new week my friend!!!

These are absolutely awesome looking birds, Mike. There are several types throughout the world. In parts of China they use them for fishing. They train the bird to dive great depths, hunt for and bring the fish to the surface. But not before tying small rope around his neck so the loon don't get cute and swallow the fish lol. This is a beautiful picture, buddy. What an awesome shot, the water is like a mirror and in fact the bird's "Gothic" appearance certainly does the trick. Eagerly wait for more of your trip. Cheers and thanks for sharing.

This is incredible, Mike! The water is so still except for the loon's wake - it's like he's swimming on a mirror! A great shot, Buddy! More, more! Yeah, I miss Roy and his work (and his humor). I think he's doing mostly animation stuff now.. I'll sitemail you later tonight on how to embed a hyperlink... If you don't get a sitemail tonight, just poke me in the head and remind me! :-D

Fabulous shot. You were correct, indeed, that the one I took this summer is similar to your own. Love the angle he posed at for you!
