Recently, Javier, you've been doing a number of grand visual 'pageants', like grand wreaths made of architectural forms and ornamental forms...and this is another example. These are grand pieces, grand and majestic. In this piece, your lighting is marvelous, and it's in great contrast to your darker areas. This is like a cosmic chandelier, as viewed from above, with a universe of other lights (or structures) around it. You may know that "chandelier" comes from the Latin "candere," to shine, glisten, etc. (The English "candle" comes from the same root.) It's something that radiates light. While this piece is bathed in deep shadows, it appears that the centerpiece is able to give off much light or energy. And your title "meeting point" fits because all these forms seem to be doing a dance around a center point, like everything is in meeting. As always, the detail on your spheres and metallic parts is first rate. The lines and forms created by the repetition of these structures is splendid. Your use of light against the dark---esp the way you light the structures in the foreground---is just beautiful. And it all makes a big cosmic chandelier, or a big meeting place in the center of many space ships. And it's splendid. Javier, if you saw my fractals, you'd realize that I'm the very opposite of you: My fractals look like a dog did them. (And not a very talented dog.) You are a master at this art, and your pieces continually stun me. A beautiful pageant-like piece, and another amazing piece of fractal art. You deserved the title you got...
