Description

This version has Caustics and radiosity turned on with cache enabled. I messed around using area lights(4) with adjusted intesity and color settings. There is also a distant light with shadows turned off. My goal with this was to find a balance conidering render times to achieve a good image, in this case I wanted to achieve a warm glow. This render took 1hr and 59min. Caching radiosity and caustics halved my render times. Ehanced medium for AA level. This added 17 passes on 1 segment as oppoesd to 9 passes on medium.

bake your bckgnd image or bake as much as you can, as u turn up antiliasing turn dwn your radiosity, the 5 passes of antiliasing are the same as radiosity if you are uasing antiliasing. there is a quite plug called 3PL that places three lights that work great for rad scenes...great pic i..... played with the mandelbrot plug using the IFW2 fractual and really neat.... michael
