Und da steht er noch so rum. Die Trödler waren wohl etwas zu langsam. Zwinker. Für Liebhaber bestimmt restaurierens wert. In unserer 2. Wohnung (1984) hatten wir auch noch so ein altes Teil in der Küche.

This brings back memories of my childhood, visiting my great-grandmother. She cooked on a wood stove, and it was like a magic trick seeing the food come out just right even though she hadn't turned a knob to set the temperature. :)

Both my grams had one of these, and i always thought they were so darn cool...lol I swore id get one when "I grew up" but I never did, as of yet. Im not sure Id find one but maybe. Great find!

You can pay a lot of money here, for a replica of those stoves, they are very hot items, presently! (pardon the pun, Jules) These old stoves do everything - even keep you beautifully warm in Winter, wish I had one here right now ;) marvellous antique, BB

hey - wie klasse - da kommt meine Kindheit zurück - so ein Herd stand in unserer Küche früher .. (ich hab mir da meine Hand verbrannt als zweijährige) .. ist schon genial, wenn man das wiedersieht - Klasse Aufnahme!

What an antique you got there... An antique would give you top dollar for this baby I betcha... oh if it could talk......... and think of the most delicious meals cooked on top of it.... probably cooked better food on those old stoves than the new ones today.......... I could remember as a little girl going to my grandma's and I would spit or throw water on her stove like that to hear it sizzle...lol........my grandma's stove was black............and could make the best cornbread on it......ummmmm making me hungry seeing strawberry's and talking about cornbread... lol great capture and find....... what a great object of history here............
