Description


The Navajo living in the Cove and Red Rock Valley area are aware that all creeks and washes running off the north slope of the Chuska Mountains are contaminated from the Uranium mining and therefore no longer use that water for domestic or irrigation purposes. However, their live stock drink from whatever source of water is available as these sheep here are drinking the water of the Standing Redrock Creek.
