Hiya. Lets see. My name is Missy (not Betty). I live in Washington State with my hubby of 26 years and 3 children. My hubby is a lawyer and I'm a stay-at-home mom. I've been into graphics since 1995 and discovered 3-D sometime around the late 90's using a program called Simply 3-D (I think). I rendered the most awesome spheres lol! I was hooked. After following many webrings I discovered a Poser webring and then saw some images that for the time were really neat. I talked my hubby into buying me Poser and that was that. I'm now using Poser 8, Bryce 6, and considering buying Cinema 4D when I can afford it. I love making whimsical images. I love to think someone is smiling or laughing when they view my images. I'll throw in a serious one here and there but whimsical ones are my favorite. I recently took a 3 year break from 3-D, and when I came back I realized how much I missed it in my life. I feel fulfilled again. My only advice to anyone is that if you feel the urge to create--don't stop because you think your work isn't fantastic. I compare myself all the time to the fantastic artists around here and I have to tell myself to stop it daily. Just do your own art and if it makes you happy, remember that is ALL that matters. Thanks for viewing my info! Hugs, Missy

Never heard of a 31 hour render in Apo, had some like that in MojoWorld but my longest in Apo has been probably 3-4 hours single threaded. Super work Peace

Very beautiful image. lol my wife uses APO and complains when it is going to take 15 minutes to render an image. I'm pretty sure one that takes 31 hours would never see the light of day at our house. I love your result though
OOh Betty
I think why it took so long is because I rendered at 3600x2400 px and at a quality of 10,000. Still 31 hours does seem extremely long. Most of my renders take around 15 hours to render. My computer is new and fast. Weird huh.

What a very beautiful image and presentation. Looks so delicate yet carries alot of power. There is alot of tiny pieces contained into this outstanding render. Lol Jim (Greyone) he is so right. P.S. your added spiritual message is very touching.

I've always heard that rendering at quality of values like 10,000 doesn't really pay off, just takes a lot longer. I think 1,000 was the usual suggestion at the old Apo mailing list. Anyway, great design.
