DAGGER Hexagon is great but like any other program theres a learning curve. AND want to know whats the greta part about it? ITS FREE on DAZ right now. I have worked in MAYA and Lightwave and always come back to HEX. Keep in MIND HEXAGON is NOT a rendering program! It's a modeler

Awesome devotion to detail here! Thats going to be SOME Phantom when its done. Some time or other all of us probably need one of these chairs in the real world, let alone having one in polygons.

LOL Well while doing all sorts of GOOGLE searches for image of this Seat I found companies that take authentic ejection seats and turn them into real office chairs. They are pretty cool! BUT font look like something toy would want to sit in from 8-5. On that note. while researching this seat the BUTT cushion is only like 1 inch thick and sits on top of a flat metal BOX, (The survival gear and the back pad , Well look at it! Frankly I have no idea how any pilot sat on the thing for endless hours. Must of been like sitting on a pillowcase full of door knobs!

I learned more than I wanted to on this project. The horseshoe shaped thing is NOT a soft Cushiony Head rest. Its a fiberglass box for the MAIN chute. Also there is like no less than 5 ways to engage the ejection seat to ... uh Well EJECT you! and have found out that while a few pilots ejected themselves by accident, ( EXPLAIN that to your CO after they fished you out of the Chiense Sea) far more NEW mechanics killed themselves servicing the aircraft.

ALso i wish you could read the writing on the labels I did take some artistic license there. Theres a PLATE riveted into the over head thing with the word DANGER on the top! Under that is says "DO NOT PULL MY FINGER"

Sweet!!! Very nice job on the seat. The wrinkles on the seat edges totally blow me away. I hope that you intend to post renders of the whole model. Very nice job!!

Yea but the f4 project has gotten completely out of control! Spent move time on the seat than the ship! Still modeling the COCKPIT and then I got to make a pilot as well! UGH! I need a job. The wrinkle are a BUMP! they are not geometry. I watched a tutorial on youtube about HOW to make wrinkles for clothes in photoshop then place them in the BUMP channel in Carrara and it was fairly simple! AS with most of my work I tend to OVER do it! I need to turn down the wrinkles on this as they are set at 25% needs to be like 15
