Description
A Bufori hood ornament!
Bufori are an Australian sports car brand with classic retro styling. Under the bonnet though, there's nothing retro about it as it is powered by a bespoke 2.7-litre quad cam 172kW V6 engine mid-mounted just ahead of the rear axle! Aided by bodywork made of lightweight carbon fibre and Kevlar, the engine can propel the La Joya from 0-100km/h in a quick 6.7 seconds.
The cabin is fully insulated for heat and sound, but contains old-world luxuries such as 100% Persian silk carpets, French polished walnut dash, 24-carat gold-plated instrumentation and 24-carat solid gold bonnet emblem.

Un conseil pour prendre ce genre de phot; se mettre d'accord avec la direction et avoir accès lorsqu'il y a pesonne. C'est dommage parce que le lieu, les sujets sont magnifiques, ce qui donne de très belles photos

As a classic car fan I love the retro looks. The only thing that would improve it in my mind is a set of proper wire wheels.

I can't believe I have never heard of this car! Spokes would probably look better on it than the wheels it currently has, and if it were a convertible...I wouldn't want to have to step over what should be a 'step' to get in the door either, but it is a very nice looking car in it's own way. As far as the solid 24k...I hope it retracts. It looks to be the better part of a pound...well, maybe half a pound, but still! That is around $16,000.00 American! I don't suppose there was a price tag on that particular vehicle?
