Great period shot! [I'll admit I'm still scratching my head about the Digimation "Cat" and where it fits into the Catalina family- A Catalina is usually an "amphibian"... so what did the modeller(s) do with the huge retractable wheels...??? Or is it some less common variant?] Good work on the lighting, helps to bring out the details.

Briney: I agree that most version of the Catalina were amphibious, but I have read about versions without landing gear.
