This is a character I created. I wanted to just play around with the morph dials to see What I could come up with. I had no idea which direction this was going when I started. As I went along my direction began to develop, I wanted a character that looked angelic But also a little impish. I changed her several times before I chose this version. Then I had To come up with a name for my creation, I thought for awhile and then a name came to me, Kathy. I have a sister in Heaven named Kathy, she was a very special person and I loved her. Kathy was born in 1950 with down syndrome. Back then not many people lived very long with Down syndrome and she also had a heart murmur so my parents were told she would not live Long enough to go home from the hospital, but she did. The doctors kept saying she wasn’t going to live much longer through out her life but she lived to the age of 52. The thing that made Kathy special was how she loved everyone and every thing unconditionally. I wrote this poem to her [about her] when she Passed away and it is about the wonderful smile she always had on her face for everyone she met. Kathy’s Smile Her smile was like a bright beacon, Which lighted up all our ways. She was our precious gift from God, In our hearts she forever stays She gave ours lives abundant joy, And touched us with tremendous love. Now we are filled with great sorrow, God has called her to Heaven above. She was born to be a special angel, To teach us of the simplicity of life. How it is better to give than receive, When guided through the world's strife. Her heart was filled with such love, A beauty that came from deep within. That beautiful smile always on her face, We'll remember a very angelic little grin. Now I must come to God with thanks, Knowing life here must continue on.
