Description

Just a fall shot. Best full-size. (A bit distorted from the old Nikon, but I didn't change much: Haze and strong sunshine make for a slight 'glow'...) * * * Again, thanks for your visits and comments Have a fine weekend! Mark

Wonderful capture of a leaf falling, and significant counter-point with the couple sit, enjoying the view of the lake. It is a romantic scene in the whole... i love to see the golden colours of the trees connecting both sides. So simple and so beautiful view, Mark:)and the light coming through the haze, making shadows in the ground, is fabulous !!

Such a lovely shot, full of shadows and sunshine. The colors of autumn are always so beautiful in their momentary glory. I like the single leaf falling, and the ring of colorful trees surrounding the lake. Must be a really lovely place to sit. CC

Delicious!!! I LOVE the way the haze hides those scary buildings.

That is beautiful. The distortion (if any) adds to the haze and listlessness of a warm autumn day. Almost looks like Baker Park - near my stomping grounds.

So beautiful! I love the bright, hazy background against those marvellous trees. Whatever you did or didn't do to this, the result is really special.

It is so hard to catch just one leaf falling like this, I know as I have had lots of goes at it. This is perfect as it is in the right place in the photo and at the right height too. A fabulous capture of this lovely autumn scene and the colours are so bright in the sunlight too. It is lovely looking through the trees to the busy city beyond.

You caught the eloquence of the day in this stellar capture, Mark, replete with your patented silhouetting techniques! Love the detail, warm colors, lighting contrast and shadows of it all. And, if you really want to see distortion, you should see some of the buildings leaning way over in some of my Cerritos Towne Centre photos, taken with a very sophisticated Canon point-and-shoot model (not my small basic P & S camera).

l'automne est vraiment une saison magnifique pour les couleurs. Un endroit reposant avec la brume sur l'eau qui met en relief encore plus les couleurs des feuilles.

Oh, wow, this is so great, so wonderful, I hardly have enough words to say it!! The soft, sweet color, the almost mystical look, and then that one leaf falling to the ground--boy, you got it all!!
