Such a plant I've never seen before. She is very beautiful. A little spider is sitting on it too. Fantastic shot!

Can't say I've ever even seen an egg plant, so this is a win-win image for me. The bloom has a purple color too, thanks for sharing!

La melanzana, oltre che buona da mangiare, è anche bella da vedere quando è in fiore! Meno bello il ragnetto!!! ;) Ottima foto :)

wow, what a strange beguiling flower. That center area (the stamens) looks like a one-eyed creature from another planet. Or like a launching pad for a rocket about to take off. And the petals look like they're colored with watercolors. What an amazing looking plant. You gave us the whole flower, and those remarkable stamens, and you gave us a spider too---yes, I see it! And it's got a very hairy stem, like it needs to shave. A very revealing photograph, very "honest"---meaning, you didn't do anything to make it "pretty". It's just a strange flower. First time I've ever seen this flower. (I've eaten lots of eggplants, but never seen the flower.) Fine capture, Alida.
