Description

This is the last of my test renders of Martin Frost's "Nuphar foliage". I read somewhere that hippos kill more people than any other animal in Africa. And they look so docile and cute. But, even the crocs don't mess with them, so they are free to take a dip in the pond unharassed. Hippo and Crocodiles from Daz. Thank you so much for your kind comments and favs on my "Lacewing in Lilypond" I am grateful for your encouragement. I think he looks better zoomed.

What a brave hippo with all those crocks!!!! Fantastic scene I especially love the pose of the crock middle right, that is exactly how they look in the wild. A pleasure to view Patty.

Very nice render! It's very true, the hippos are rather nasty beasts. Don't mess with them when they go out of the water to feed on land at night! (I've lived in Africa for many years, so... ) :D

Well done! The crocs look dangerous - but they are so ugly. The hippo looks cute in contrast, but reality has a different story to tell. I like the underwater perspective.

I heard on the animal channel that a hippo can bite a Crocodiles in halve with it teeth. i do not think they eat them just kill them if they bother the hippo.
