Description

Happy Birthday Brigitte you said you were also a big fan so I thought this a fitting birthday gift. My version of getting you a Diamond, for your birthday. The title:So good, so good, so good. Is part of the lyrics to the song Sweet Caroline. This is from the concert, using a point and shoot camera and no flash. Was the best photo I got of him. Thanks for all the comments about the concert I thought I would answer a few of the questions here: Goodoleboy: Oh, Deere, Deere, Deere, what a handsome shot of the green tractors you posted here, Lynell. And, I believe it was the Monkees that made 'I'm a Believer' a hit. I didn't know Neil Diamond had even done that song until I ran across it on one of my CDs. Harry he actually composed the song and recorded it on an earlier album , and the Monkees recorded and turned it into a hit. Netot: I'm glad that you and your daughter enjoyed so much the concert. I would have liked to be there. My favorite is "Play me". Netot, Great song and yes he did perform that one. Rockstridger: I've always been a fan of "Forever In Blue Jeans" - did he sing that one? Great capture and dedi Lynell with superb colours! Carl, yes he did play that one, my daughter wore a blue jeans skirt in hopes that she would stand out and he would bring her up on stage. LOL she and 17,000 others were hoping for the same thing. :) Netot: Great capture and quite adequate song! Neil Diamond is my favorite singer, I thought that he was already retired. I have almost all of his LP's (Yes, no CD).You are lucky to go. I hope you'll enjoy the concert and yes, I'll be waiting for the photos. He said at the show that as long as the fans keep showing up he will continue to perform. He also said I put all my kids through braces this way and now I have to keep performing so I can put my kids, kids in braces LOL. But he just said he truly loves performing and it shows. Goodoleboy: The Coca Cola Museum? I never knew there was such a thing. And there is no The Boat that I Row in my Neil Diamond CDs. That said, cool capture of the cool sculpture, Lynelle. Kind of reminds me of The Philadelphia Experiment. Coca-Cola history began in 1886 when the curiosity of an Atlanta pharmacist, Dr. John S. Pemberton World of Coke And the song is on his Classic the Early Years Album Thanks for all the kind comments on my last post. thumb_2339154.jpg
