Description

One of the few landscapes I thought about painting in Pastel.. maybe another time, when I learn more. Thank you all for your good wishes and sympathy about my aching wrist. It finally unlocked, so now I can move it carefully again, but not twist it without pains. I have very carfully colored a bit with the pastels, but only a few minutes at the time. Smearing I must do with the other hand. I might give you comment, but only in short words. Have a beautiful sunday. Grey weather here. As usual, Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

SO glad you 'unlocked', Helle! This is beautiful, and would look great in whatever medium you choose.

Welcome back Helle! Take your time! You can leave one word comments, or none (at least for me!), as your hand and wrist are much more important; but I couldn't be happier that you're at least able to move your hand again. Take care of it! The world needs your hand! As for your image, holy cow, it's just beautiful helle. A gentle sweeping image with a river opening up to us, at bottom, and all that beautiful low-carpeted land above. It all opens up, full view. The patch of brown is a beautiful accent, as are the houses...This is the kind of image that brought me to your gallery way back in 2008 (before there was electricity and running water---remember then?), because of the beautiful feel of your captures and the softness and wonderful clarity. I can see why you live out there! I hope people zoom, as it's just beautiful when full. Welcome back, go slowly, and above all, heal. I wish you all the healing in the world!

A lovely POV Helle! Wonderful how you've captured the peaceful essence of this place.... it seems so soothing and calming... how I'd love to sit with a good book here and listen to the gentle stream of water....

I'm glad to hear that your wrist is better, but try not to force it too much... a little caution is good! Beautiful scenery and great capture! :)

Oh wow ... this is gorgeous! Such a lovely scene. I agree with Mark about the "carpet." It was what caught my eye right away. SO beautiful! Don't overdo, dear one! Your wrist is more important than a few comments.

A most beautiful view and landscape, dear Helle. Denmark looks so beautiful and wide! Maybe you have worked too hard in the garden with your wrist; a pity, you have this pain again. You are in my thoughts and I'm hoping you can again draw very soon, dear friend.
