Description

First of all, I'd like to wish a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the fathers, papas, pops, pappys, dads, daddies, daddykins, daddy-os, sugar daddies, and Mack daddies! And now for something to raise a father's blood pressure... In a coming installment of my webcomic, there will be a reason for Kelly to wear a soft, fuzzy, Angora sweater like the kind J. Geils sang about. I'm trying to figure out how to depict that. Here are some experiments, and you should really ZOOM IN so you can see the difference. 1. The base, non-fuzzy sweater. 2. A blurred outline of the sweater. 3. A hard, wavy line. 4. A "pencil sketch" line. Which one is best?? Or, can you point to an example somewhere which shows what you think it should look like? Note that I usually draw shirts stretching over the chest area. This one is "vacuum packed" to show just how clingy it is. Opinions?? Thanks!

I pick #4 as the best depiction, #3 seems odd for some reason. no matter which one wins, the combination of the tight sweater and tight jeans - well poor daddy is going to need a heart monitor AND a built-in defib device

Thanks. I'd have to say #1.

Hi, 1: just looks straight 2: looks blurry but not fluffy (I think you knew that) 3: still not convincing, too thick and harsh 4: pretty good, floaty look, softer lines give a softer feeling So it's 4 so far, if you could combine the 'shape' of 3 with the lighter lines of 4 it may be even better.

If you use thinner lines in #3 and blurred them a bit like in #4 I think you got it! And Kelly looks good in this outfit. Growing up and trying to look a bit attractive, build a little self esteem - but how? Without becoming a sex object - sigh - that thin line. Keep up the good work! :-)

maybe a combo of 3 and 4, would make for a fuzzy sweater, great work!:)*5

Agree with cricke49: Principally no.3 is the best, but the lines are too thick. So it would be nice to have a bit of the fuzzieness of no.4 in it.
