Very cool tower !!

Okay Mark, this is about the coolest pic I've seen in some time. Love the idea for this series, and can't wait to go through all 3 of them. This one is sensational, and appears to be almost right out of a movie. You timed it out perfectly to get the lighting just right, as it gives an appearance of mystery. The title you chose is perfect, and adds to the allure.

Delightfully spooky shot and abode. Yes, there is a tall tree so Dracula can sit on a branch, then fly through the window, as a bat, of course. Don't think he gets too many unsolicited sales calls knocking on his door, especially at night. CC

Oh my, this is absolutely stunning, Mark! Wow, I love the atmosphere you've wrapped this tower in...well done!

Super...the angle, the color, the posterization (if that's what you used)...all wrap this up in mystery and even a bit of foreboding. Reminds me of a feeling I got as a child when my father read me Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped.

I vant your blaud! An apt name for the magenta colored tower, appearing so impressive, and suggesting blood, as it soars so ominously into the night sky, with its broad windows ever open for the exit of bats to go seeking their prey, Mark. And once they do find a victim, they change into human form, with fangs yearning to puncture a throat. Other than that, I love the POV, contrast, and terrific texture of the stone surfaces.

Is this that weird, scary looking water tower I saw, a few blocks from the hotel? It's quite an interesting structure and you caught it at its best. A very intense shot!

Your capture is really imponent,Mark! The perspective, the colour and the light is impressive.Your foto speaks to imagination and we could read a story...... The tower, growing and almost dissolving into the dark, in the top-the trunks, almost dissolving into the struture and making part of it....MISTERIOUS place and WONDERFUL photo !

The light within, encased, imprisoned in the tower of flesh, bursting it's radiant light, shouting to be freed. What a divinely awesome capture :-)

Is this on Erie by any chance? If so, I think it's the Cable House. If not, then it isn't the Cable House. Oh well. I love the turret and the whole Dragula's Bedroom vibe. He had three Brides, and so now you have me wondering just which one of them keeps that particular bedroom clean, and what are her co-wives doing while she's doing that? Ah...my mind goes off into odd places, sometimes. I really like this. It has a particular night-time intimacy to it that softens the harder, brash edges of Chicago, and in a sense, its age and ponderousness actually enlivens the city a bit. We have such tall buildings here...and so many of them are far beyond human scale, and even if this is Cable House (too big for use!) then it's still somewhat more to human scale, despite that its coach house is pretty amazingly huge too! Funny how huge is such a relative term, but I think that in this case, the word implies more...well...stony, stable, and kinda heavy if you drop it on your toe. I really like this a lot: the POV is perfect and it looks like a place I have visited on a couple of night-time/after-work walks. I tend to walk around what might be your neighborhood on Friday nights and thinking to myself: This is the part of Chicago where a science fiction writer should live, even though I get kinda itchy when I get too close to Moody Bible Institute. But anywhere within walking distance (okay, long walking distance) to Reza's is worth living in. I love this shot. I love the color and the stony texture, and that invitingly warm light. Someone's in there, and I like what that implies. Light shining out of windows at night is always so inviting. My inner story teller really goes for snooping around and trying to find the great tale that night-lit windows reveal!
