Description
This Friday we celebrate midsummers eve here in Sweden. This image is inspired by the first verse of a midsummer song.
Translation:
You bind a midsummer wreath of olvon (a flower) and hang it around your hair.
You laugh at the bone white shine of the man in the moon high above the pine.
Tonight you are going to dance at/by svartrama tarn, a long dance a running/go dance on hot iron.
Tonight you are asked by the mist to dance where Ull-Stina Kull-Lina walk.
In scandianvian folklore faeries appear as mist
I used google translation so it is probably not completely accurate.
If you celebrate midsummer: glad midsommar
If you dont celebrate it: have a nice weekend
Thanks for viewing!
