Description

The old pickup had ran out of fuel four miles back. She had hiked here because of an faded billboard that read, 'LAST CHANCE FOR GAS!! 50 MILES!!!' What a lie. Maybe once, but the scavengers who had gotten here before had drained all the pumps. Now Roxy had an empty can, empty hopes. Night was coming. They were more active at night. A cold chill of dread worked its way down her spine despite the heat of the sun that dipped lower and lower towards the horizon. It was just her and her bolt rifle now. Same as it had been for the past two weeks, ever since Sam... No, she wouldn't go there. Couldn't. If she was going to make it, she had to be sharp. Swallowing past the lump in her throat, she steeled herself for the hours until dawn. **** This one is for a special person! You know who you are *hugz* Thank you for the gift. My first play with IDL lights from Colm. These are going to be very fun to work with. So many possibilities. Jenny and Rob's Roxanne with her dirty skin - SSS node added with Snarlygribble's EZskin script. The building is 'French Village' at Share CG and the Gas Can prop is there too. Trying to kick a flu bug today.

Delaney, SOOOO beautiful. WOW! The lighting is spectacular in this, and I just love the story you wrote to go along with it. Beautiful illustration on all fronts. a Zombie story? sucks to run out of gas but out in the middle of nowhere really sucks.... at least she's not stranded on the side of the highways and has to spenc the night walking.

Nicely done. I like the backstory that supports this. I got the feeling of a 'Road Warrior' kind of scenario from the mood in the scene, right away.
