This was from our trip to Connecticut in Nov of 2011. They would not let you on the grounds to take pictures unless you paid $20. If you did pay then you could not take pictures inside the house. So I just took a picture from the gate. Beautiful photo. I visited there in 1974. Back then, there were no restrictions on photography. Is there someone living there today, or is the stiff fee for maintaining the building and property? I didn't own a camera back then, so I miss having anything on film. Keep up the good work! :-)

very lovely. this is a place where a spy camera comes into place. but then if you get caught with one you be in trouble.
