Description

Okay, back on 03/05/12 I posted a "68" Mustang-Pro Street GT500 Hemi Mean machine #0006 that went over very good and got a lot of views. One viewer asked if I had any other photo's of this ride, well I went through my photo's and you'll be happy to know I found 2 more of this bad machine, so this is the first of two. Thanks for all the comments on this ride and all the others I've posted. I'm sorry these photo's are a bit small but you already know why as I've explained a few days ago. At any rate I hope you like these two of this beautiful Mustang. Stan

Ever get the impression life passes before your eyes in quarter mile per every 8 seconds with a car like this? Being a huge fan of speed(car/motorcycle/boat)Yep! Did 145 mph on my little Honda Hurricane 600 way back in '87. Since then, nothing's been the same. No doubt, the local county sheriff still wonders what the heck that was. hehehe 15 minutes later when they came knocking at the door(sheriff must have contacted city police 'cuz there were only two guys in our little town that owned bikes like that, that's right me and my buddy from High School the same one that owned the '69 Mustang We bought matching bikes off of the showroom floor for 3698.00 a piece) Anyway after being questioned for another 15 minutes, they finally asked to inspect my bike. I said sure, went and opened up the garage door. The first thing they did was to check to see if the exhaust was hot. It was not as it had just over a 1/2 hour to cool down. Time was on my side that day and the fact that pure and simple dumb luck had finally paid off for once in my life. I learned my lesson that day even though I got away scot-free. I still tempt fate every now and again but, I am much more calculated as decades of "knock on wood" wisdom typically intercede long before I stuff my foot into things anymore.:)
