Description

... Here showing again either a moth or a butterfly (hence the "Motherfly 2" title) at the Wegerzyn Gardens. This time on a big water lily flower. At the pond. So there! ;) AuntieTK found what it is: "I found it! What you have here is a polygonia interrogationis, also known as a Question Mark butterfly. :D " Thanks, Auntie! :) You can see the same insect there, with its wings open: Motherfly

I found it! What you have here is a polygonia interrogationis, also known as a Question Mark butterfly. :D Gorgeous shot ... I love the contrast between the butterfly and the pastels of the flower and background. Beautiful!

these are about the only ones i've been seeing for awhile...just starting to see other varieties...this type shows up first always...lovely capture... chills and thrills
