Description
Welcome to Rover's yard. If any of ya all have ever tried to find any one particular model out of hundreds to choose from just by name it's almost impossible to do, so I take all of my models one by one open them in Bryce texture them ( just to kind of see what the model could look like with different materials applied) and the i render a small picture of each model so it will have a thumbnail sticking out of the folder (Windows 7) in XP you can make your folder the thumbs but not with 7. this particular scene here was only supposed to be a quick render of the dog house to use as the thumb for this model. But as I put the house into Bryce I thought that I should put some material on the ground plain ( just to make the thumb a little bit nicer) then after I saw the ground with material on it I thought that it needed to have a fence in the background ( just to make the thumb a little bit more nicer) (more nicer??? lol) well after seeing the ground and the fence I thought maybe some pieces of grass (just to make the thumb a little...) then it was add a tree or ten, lol. next hey why not put a dog in here also and well if your going to have animals you need to have a food and water bowl to eat and drink form and of course the bowl has got to have the critter's name on it also. So this is my thumbnail for this dog house model, The house was downloaded from GrabCad (http://grabcad.com/home) the fence I made in Bryce and is available in the free stuff here at Renderosity. I thank you for taking the time to read this, for viewing and for any comments. remember folks... To Work Happy Not Hard!!!!

Well I for one think this turned out rather cool and yes it helps to experiment with textures in Bryce as each one captures lighting differently.I too do a ritual with certain items I find to see what the item will look like with each different selection I chose...Some work and well some don't...Yours here seems to have worked quite nicely..(smiles)..

Just goes to show... You never know what may happen when you open Bryce. Well done.
