Description

Several of you have seen the "Bell Caves" one of my recent posts. These ancient bell caves were made by burrowing into the ground and excavating to create bell shaped caves beneath their homes. After the layer of topsoil was a thin layer of hardened rock, geologically called as "Nari". Once this was chipped off, the third layer was a softer layer of limestone. The ancients dug through this limestones to to create the "Bell Caves". In this photo those three layers are clearly visible. The top soil and the vegetation on it, followed by the Nari, and then below it the whitish limestone.
