Lyin' Eyes Greetings all. This one comes about due to a musical request made during a Country Western bar gig I was doing this weekend . Oddly, it came from a young person I would have thought was way too young to even know the song existed. But from the sadness I saw in her eyes, I think she needed to hear it. "Lyin' Eyes" is a song written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey and recorded in 1975 by the American rock band the Eagles. It talks of a young woman driven by greed, caught up in unfaithfulness, and who is also in desperate need of love. Quite a good song actually. I do hope you enjoy this weeks contribution.
