This just literally happened. I was sitting at my computer desk and all of a sudden a wild commotion outside happened. I looked up to see this young red tail hawk swooping down and there was a lot of squawking going on. Then.......silence. I grabbed my camera and there you see that dinner has been served. I believe the prey is a sparrow. Thanks for viewing.

excellent shot...i love birds of prey...i got a shot of a baby one of these a few days ago but not good shot...i've watched them scarf up squirrels, snakes and rabbits...they are quite the predators... chills and thrills
