Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Lovely story! I shall try to watch on the 13th when it gets here, as it won't happen again in my lifetime, a bit like the Transit of Venus! (which we couldn't see for cloud)

Ahhh so they are all joining in are they, love this story, love the pic you created here it looks fantastic. Yes I understand the Olympic torch will be close by us today, but it will be shown on Calendar on tv later I guess. I am too worried about my girls at the vets today though, oh how I miss them Barbara. The cats and especially Freddie is looking all over for them and when not looking for them is by my side, he is such a cute cat, he misses his big sisters. hugs and love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wonderfully done Barbara. Your story is great. I enjoy the olympics and appreciate the dedication the atheletes put into becoming the best they can be at thier chosen events. But I really find it hard to understand the hype that surrounds the whole thing. Cities battling for years to be chosen as the host city, just so they can go billions of dollars into debt, displace much needed housing so they can build fancy sports venues, and the hoopla around the open and closing ceremonies. Montreal hosted the 1976 olympics and we are still paying for it, despite the olympic stadium has since ceased to exist after the roof crumbled in with old age.
