Actor James "Jimmy" Stewart was a bomber pilot aboard B-17 Flying Fortresses and B-24 Liberators during World War 2. He served mainly with the 445th Bomb Group, 703rd Bomb Squadron, but this particular aircraft, "Male Call", was with another unit he occasionally flew with.

Hey Wolfman Smith, I was wondering if you would be able to contact me regarding the markings on "Male Call". I am doing a scale model of Jimmy Stewart's hack. I would love to pick you brain about the markings and what you did to research this. I hope to hear from you. If you're so inclined, please contact me at executor43@gmail.com
Thank you, Brian
