Description

The original idea was from Kim Poor...view his image at http://www.novaspace.com/SOLD_OUT/S_H.html. Kim and the artists at his site influenced me to try space art myself...a definate influence! Herschel was a British astronomer who discovered Uranus and several of its moons...he also discovered several of Saturns moons, one of which, Mimas has a large crater named after him. Kim Poor realized that a view from this crater might look like this.... My back bedroom/office is surrounded with limited edition spaceart prints of Kim Poor, Joe Tucciarone, and Michael Carroll and others.... I dedicate this to Kim Poor and his wonderful visions! TG2, Moodflows starfield background clip file, postworked Saturn colors and rings over the TG2 planet in PSP7... Thanks!!!

Splendid ! Excellent idea to put the asteroid ring in a vertical plane. This adds an unusual mood to this superb image.
