Description

yes you see a bbq pit in the back ground by the shed but i did not use it; plus my son father in law used it and cooked some hamburgers on to of the hood and it have grease all over the out side now. The reason why he did that is becuse the fire he build inside was too hot. Few people ask me why i did not use it. i told them I like my way. plus the pit is too small for all the food I cooked. as you see the grill is heavy duty steel they use to make stuff with like walk ways on platforms. it is welded to steel under it for heavy duty support. I used some broken cement bricks that is the same size i find at my dads house and i bring them to my sons. The top for the hood i used a fire pit to cover the food to keep the heat in. You do see a rack of hamburgers meat on the WW2 table someone had in they car that they lend me. the table had belong to my grandfather who fought in WW1, WW2, and the Korea War. He had this table they used in WW2 and he give it to me just before he die in 1960. my son took these photos of the bbq as i for got to plus my hands was all messed up. I did use some bottle water and a towel to wipe my hands. the wood I brought from my dads house which I did cut last year. it is oak and I was going to make a open fire to cook a roast with but I saw i did not have time that day. maybe this fall when it cools down i go back and cook the roast. I will take a photo of it as most people never saw how that is done. Even if i told you you never will see it in your mind. but that another time and photos is it not? I just used the BBQ cubes that most people will uses here. hope this is the right gallery. i going to ask a mod

Now that looks cosy. How clever of you to let the smoke go over the food to protect it from flies :)

That's what I call a practical BBQ. No unnecessary stuff and the main thing is that it tastes great! Bon appetite!
