Description

The third of a series of dragon "type" art I began in 2008. I thought all 3 were created in 2008 but it seems I took a "dragon break" as this was not created/painted until 2009. Serendipity .... ... the making of pleasant discoveries by accident ... Sorry, I cannot remember the resources I used outside of the painting :O-( Thank you if you are viewing this :O-) Thank you also for any comments or favs you might leave on this. Woweee! And you still do digital 3-D stuff when you can do this??? This is just awesome - it reminds me so much of some of the fantasy work that was kicking around in the 80s. Kinda retro in style but very elegant and modernist in execution. Oh, this would make a beautiful print.

I call them "HAPPY ACCIDENTS!" and some of the best pieces I have ever painted were exactly THAT! Great job...it DOES look a bit like stained glass. :)
