Description
This is my very first Poser Pro 2012 image and first render ever since a horrible turn of events made me homeless on September 24, 2010, in which I lost everything--my beloved pets, family heirlooms, thirty years' worth of Hayseed cartoons (I've been drawing Hayseed since 1981 and he's the star of my children's book, "Hayseed's First Race"), all three of my vehicles, even all of my Macintosh computers, including my Power Mac G5 tower which had Poser 7 installed with hundreds of figures, props, textures, scenes, etc. on it going all the way back to Poser 4.
I'm still homeless but am just now getting back into CGI graphics after acquiring a refurbished Intel Mac Mini, Adobe CS3 Web Premium, and of course, an upgrade to Poser Pro 2012 (many thanks to the Smith Micro customer service representative for digging up my Poser 7 serial number!).
My creative urges were long suppressed by the trauma of that horrible day; I'm still suffering emotionally, mentally and physically, but having my favorite graphics programs to focus on is helping me immensely--although I'm haunted by the loss of all my pets and worry every single day about them.
Anyway, here's my first Poser Pro render with no postwork except Auto Levels in Photoshop CS3 to bring out the lights from the floor lamps. Enjoy! Anim8dtoon

WOW - I am so sorry to learn of your ordeal. I shall pray for God to draw you ever closer to Himself through this TRIAL and that He shall be pleased to make you whole and bring healing from the trauma. I know how good it is therapy-wise to focus on digital art, creating does help immensely! As for your image - I am VERY impressed. Your lovely character is so realistic, I honestly at first thought she was cut-out from a photo and very perfectly placed in the wonderful background you created for her. It is a lovely scene and a wonderful testimony to the life and heart you have inside you. I can't wait to see more of your work. So glad you are here with us at Rendo! :0) God bless, Neil
