Description


Hornos, pronounced (or,no) is a mud (adobe) built outdoor oven used by Native Americans and early settlers of North America. Originally introduced to the Iberian Peninsula by the Moors, It was quickly adopted and carried to all Spanish occupied lands. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, I love these ovens, we are trying to build one presently (more like a Pizza oven, but with similar functions) - it would also keep you warm on chilly nights, so close up against the Adobe? I also love those pots or urns ... wonderful image Bob, BB
