Hi All,
I have dabbled in computer graphics for many years, renewing my interest when I discovered the community on Renderosity, many years ago now. Thanks for all the friends, support, comments and just views! I hope that you like what you see, and don't mind my endless experimenting and daft sense of humour!I have become something of a champion for Carrara and believe it to be one of the most comprehensive and best value 3D packages available. I became known for my extensive use of Carrara's dynamic hair and 2010 has seen the release of a number of commercial Carrara hair products. I have also recorded a whole series of video tutorials for Infinite Skills Inc available over at Daz and also here:http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/learning-carrara-7.htmlOne of my other passions is music and I used to be keyboard player with progressive rock band Manning (2008-2009). I was delighted to make my recording debut on "Number Ten" released early 2009 - I also had a big hand in designing the CD cover and booklet! I am now writing and recording some demos of my own music. Thanks for looking - have a great day! Phil

fantastic scene!

Very clever and creative use of the props. Those aren't the Sopwith Camels you're looking for ... move along.

Looks amazing - cute idea and clever use of Carrara and the props - I'll try to track down your tutorials because Im just learning C 8.5Pro now (with some difficulty!) Just a suggestion, is to somehow get a curvature onto the death-star block arrangement to suggest the underlying sphere shape - so that the distant ends curve away and give even more dramatic and convincing perspective.

Great render, Phil! The idea is super. Excellent render too, what a contrast.

This is really funny, and an interesting idea. Thanks for the info on the greeble blocks, I'm going to pick those up right now.
