Description
This is my first render with Poser Pro 2012.
I ordered it yesterday, I had it on my hand by 2 pm this afternoon. Talk about customer service!
The interface is pretty easy to learn. The only thing that's bugging me is not being able to dock the library. All the other windows have a docking square & I can't even drag and dock it. Sigh. It keeps disappearing every time I click on something.
Oh well... I guess I'll live. ;p
I really love it. Such tiny thumbnails though.
Can't see what I'm loading til I click on it.
I had to buy a new graphics card to run it properly & wow! Greased lightning.
I'm happy happy!

I don't know about 2012 but in 9 you can change the size of the thumbnails If you click on the black bar thingie just below the create new folder and add to folder buttons below the icon window in the library and if you click on it there are menus that you can change the icon sizes etc. also to dock the library if you click the very top RH corner in the little square then a menu comes up with dock or float etc options.. well in P9 anyway.. Hope this helps ;-)

Congrats on the new toys, that was some fast service no doubt. I look forward to seeing what you can crank out with them, not that there's been anything wrong with your renders to present... ;)

You're going to love working with 2012 - I can see from this image that we're all in for a treat! Looking great, Angel! It takes a little getting used to with the floating library, but I found a solution that works really well for me... You might give it some thought.. I had a spare 19" LCD TV (most of them can be used as a computer monitor). I bought a USB adapter at MicroCenter for 50 bucks that allows me to add a second monitor.. I connected the LCD TV to it as a second monitor, and just used the 'extended desktop' setting. I just moved the Library to the smaller monitor - works great! You can get a decent LCD TV or monitor for under 100 bucks, now...

Cool render Angel :) Has she had her arms in that mucky pond?? I had the same colour hands today pulling out dead leaves and slime from my pond! LOL :)

2012 is a fantastic program and that's a very cool first render with it.

Hey, I like that, turned out fantastic! Oh, and there is a little 'bar' at the bottom you can click it and options will appear on the panel. One of them is 'always on top' That way I don't have to have it docked, but I can float it above my pose. If I want, I can minimize it to see more of the window that way. You can also choose the size of the icons too.

You can close your floating library panel, then go to Window on the overhead menu bar and click on Libraries. That should dock it on one side or the other of your workspace window. Once it is there, you can just pick it up and drag it into the same space where your Parameters/Properties tabs are Angel - unless you want to leave it there as you can see more that way. As others have said, you can then use the bar to adjust the heights of your Parameters/Properties Tabs and your Libraries tab. Nice work for your first Pro render and congratulations :)
