Description

The main pic was taken a few years back in the dead of winter and about 20 degree's. The woman is my wife of 16 years and counting(been together for 22 years). The inset pic is just after I returned from 2 1/2 years in Florida, driving a Ford F-250 double cab long bed 22 feet of behemoth... back and forth to the jobsite every fricken day:( And yes, the second day back from FL I was Mt. Hood bound to wash away the grime from the grueling Miami and South Beach experience. After building residential/commercial for 19 years in Oregon, the logical step and opportunity came about. I was contracted as an on-site supervisor for a 2+ million dollar (2400 sq. ft.)sound studio in the heart of South Beach. When I mentioned grueling earlier it was an understatement, traffic was horrendous 10 miles between condo and worksite= 1+ hour drive. At the studio, I was responsible for 20+ laborers and countless sub-contractors on any given day. Long story short... I will never do that again even if they offered me 7 figures. 6 figures barely kept me alive in the Miami economy and paying all the bills back in Oregon. *Note to self and others* Never buy a quarter million dollar house then move clear across the US for work thinking you'll pay it off in half the time:( It just doesn't work that way. Oh yeah! Almost forgot Hurricanes Wilma and Katrina both happened while I was there and let me tell you they absolutely F'in BLOW! The highlight of the whole FL experience was that my wife and I spent our 10th and 11th wedding anniversaries in Key West. The allure and mystic of the town are all that and more. Well I hope that I haven't chewed your ear off and that you enjoy getting to know me and who I am :) Now back to getting models ready for render ;)

Thanks Guys! This is my first, last and only marriage. I made that promise when I said "I do" and it's great to see that I am in good company. A toast to you and your better halves! May your devotion to that one and only, be a shining example to all! You guys are an absolute pleasure to share with and would most certainly call you friend whether you sat at the park bench or the bar stool.

I was married 38 years - sadly it came to en end but even if it wasn't forever, I kept to my commitment for 38 years and I take that seriously. If I find the right opportunity to commit again, I guarantee it will be with the same mind-set and intentions and it will be, this time, at my age, forever. The truck is great... Thumbs up to your wife. Sounds like we'd get on very well and have similar lifestyles.

Jim, I am sorry to say that models I render are not for sale. The good news is that I am willing to share what I have with just about anyone. No trades....If it's something with no legal ties, I am just happy to pass it along. And if by chance, something is entirely mine then I'd be honored to share:) My motto has always been something along the lines of that famous Beetle's song... Money can't buy me love (or friends for that matter) This is just a hobby and nothing more. The people I meet along the way are payment enough. BTW Thanks for the kind words:)

I like Rick's 'big boy' toy too and a very pretty wife. We are about 50 miles north of Miami (Delray Beach) and end up in Key West almost every year!

Dana, what a shock....my good buddy from Miami(born in Ft. Lauderdale) worked for many years in Delray Beach. That was until his company relocated to Chicago. Lucky him:( He kept his place in North Miami and now commutes each week back and forth between the two points. Miami was a lot of fun and I met some of the greatest people, but when it comes to trying to survive the expenditure's of two households; burning the candle at both ends only lasts for so long. What can I say... small town guy that went on to PDX and did okay but, went too far in the move to MIA. BTW It's great to meet you and look forward to learning more about you through your photography:) Best Regards! -Rick
