Description

Well I haven't done a Brugge composition with my early models for some time. This is for an article on my work coming out next month. The interviewer/writer was intrigued with my logo in stone on the canal wall as a discussion point. Needing high res for the print version of the mag, I've taken the opportunity to pull out all my original Brugge stuff and have some fun..as you will see if you look around. While you have all seen most of what will be in the interview, I will be spilling the beans on my professional journey to artistic retirement. This is all for 3D Art Direct who will also be doing an audio interview for July with Steve Burg, the artist of the Prometheus for Ridley Scott. Please Zoom In

Very impressive image, as usual. You know me and my pickyness. The water spout in the canal looks funny. Not sure where it's coming from. If it's the bridge, it's shooting out quite a ways. Also, are you sure you want to cover up that tower with clouds? Your modeling is so good you should show it. Just suggestions of course. Thanks for the suggestions on my last picture. But, I am on a deadline for some shows that I am in. So, no time to experiment. Making it wider sounded like a good idea. Thanks. - Bob

Wow! A super sensational scene! Grew up in a seaside town so the composition and detail are appreciated!

Congrats!!! Make sure to lower the ships a little, though I like where the masts are, and I can see the desire to be higher to avoid that which also floats. I like the splashing water - a nice touch. The open door however, makes me think that it was an extra hot day!

Liked the way you have got a story in every section of the scene, rewards the viewer but must have taken a lot of careful planning to keep it manageable in Vue. Excellent work, very enjoyable.
